Alternative Server Port Number with SSL
You can use the following server port number (with SSL) for our Zmail service.
Incoming mail(POP3):995, Outgoing mail(SMTP):465
Outlook Express
Open the “Outlook Express”.
Click the “Tools” > Select the “Accounts” > Select the email account, then click the “Properties” > Select the “Advanced tab” > Change the port numbers as follows > Click the “Apply”, then click the “OK” > Click the “Close”
Server Port Numbers with SSL
Outgoing mail (SMTP) : 465
* Check “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)”
Incoming mail (POP3) : 995
* Check “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)”

Outlook 2002/2003
Open the “Outlook 2002 / 2003”.
Click the “Tools” > Select the “E-mail Accounts” > Select “view or change an existing account”, then click the “Next” > Select the email account, then click the “Change” > Click the “more settings” > Click the “advanced tab”>
Change the port numbers as follows > Click the “OK” > Click the “Next”> Click the “Finish”.

Open Outlook 2007.
Click the “Tools” > Select the “Account Settings” > Select the email account, then click the “Change…” > Click the “More Settings” > Select the “Advanced tab” >
Change the port numbers as follows > Click the “OK” > Click the “Next”> Click the “Finish”

* Select the “SSL” in “Use the following of encrypted connection”

Mozilla Thunderbird 3.1.7
1) Change of Server Port Numbers for Incoming mail (POP3)
Open Thunderbird.
Click the “Tools” > Select the “Account Settings” > Select the “Server Settings” from the left pane > Change the port number as follows > Click the “OK”
Server Name: zmail.kddinet.de
Port:995
User Name: (your POP / SMTP account name)
Security and Authentication
Connection security:SSL/TLS
Authentication method: Normal password


2) Change of Server Port Numbers for Outgoing mail (SMTP)
Open Thunderbird.
Click the “Tools” > Select the “Account Settings” > Select the “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” from the left pane> Click the outgoing server account on the right pane > Click the “Edit” >
Change the port number as follows > Click the “OK” to close the SMTP server dialog box > Click the “OK” to close the “Account Settings”
